Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data DigiZain Rewards (run by DigiZain) collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Shop owners and staff: name, mobile number, email, password (stored encrypted), shop details, and billing / GST details you add for invoices.
• Customers of a shop: mobile number, name, and if you add them, email and birthday; a login PIN (stored encrypted); your bills, points and rewards at each shop you join.
• Payments: plan, amount, date and the payment reference. Online payments are handled by Razorpay — we never receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank logins.
• Usage: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate city from the IP address, and the language you choose. This helps us fix problems and improve the service.
• Notifications: if you allow notifications, your browser gives us a token so we can send offers and alerts to that phone.

How we use it

• To run the rewards program: show points, give and redeem rewards, send the offers and reminders of the shops you joined.
• To log you in, keep accounts secure and prevent fraud.
• To process plan payments and issue invoices.
• To answer support requests and improve the service.

We do not sell personal data and do not show third-party ads.

Who can see it

• A shop sees the details and bills of its own customers only — never customers of other shops.
• Service providers who help us run the service (hosting, Razorpay for payments) only get what they need for that job.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you logged in, remember your language and protect forms. No advertising cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep data while the account is active. A shop can delete a customer from its list. Customers and shops can ask us to delete their account and data by contacting us; we do it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (like invoices).

Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), passwords and PINs are stored hashed, and access to data is limited to the people who need it.
